Synopsis

Days

During the whole Trek, everyday will be similar but unique, we will wake up around 7 am , warm ourselves up, stretch, drink hot beverages, eat, pack up our personal belongings, open the day together, and begin walking as the Guides gather the camp and charge the horses to bring everything unto our next basecamp. If you want to ride a horse you will be welcome to.

We will only carry a day pack, the walk will be slow, steady, respecting everyones pace and inner space of contemplation. If you like to walk faster you will be able to stay with the group at a distance while exploring the endless beautiful views around the path. You will be able to take multiple rest, meditation & prayer break during the day as you are called to.

Everywhere you will look around is surreal and too much to capture so you will enjoy taking your time.

Towards between 2-4 pm we will arrive at our next camp. Take time to set ourselves up in our private tents, have a little nap, rest and then gather in the big tent to snack and drink tea.

Evening & Nights

After naps and snacks, we will share about our day and join together to have dinner together and have the opportunity to share stories and teachings until we are ready to go to bed or to be alone in our tents.

Nighttimes are cold and although well equipped with warm sleeping bags and mattress, sleeping in a tent in the high mountains is not the most comfortable, nor the best sleep. This is not a problem because the dream space in Ausangate is very powerful, so we will have long nights with multiple dreams, visions and processes in Body, Soul and Spirit.

We will be in high altitude in a wild space that is relatively disconnected from the rest of the world. The wilderness will help us to reframe our perceptions and the walk will breakthrough the limitations of our body and soul, it is normal and expected to have processes come up and Jeremiah will be there to support, intercede and make sure that nothing gets stuck in the cleansing and receiving process.

Preparation & Spiritual Practices

The physical preparation to support an easier adaptation to the altitude involves a mix of cardio and low-intensity endurance training, coupled with Hypoxic Breath holds to stimulate the adaptation of the body to be efficient with less oxygen.

If you are called to day fast you are welcome to, we do not recommend that you fast day and night, unless you are adamant, very experienced and solid in spirit, as the ascensions and environment are truly demanding and the veil is thin in this space so you don’t need to deny your flesh so much to open spiritually.

We hope to have you join us as these events are powerful, memorable, and extremely supportive to the group of guides with us.

God Bless You.
